Please see our how to enter your unlock code page for code entry instructions and a video demonstration.
We sometimes offer a free option where we deliver your radio code via email within 24 hours.
If you get the option and you’re not in a rush, be sure to take advantage of our free decoding service.
This happens when you entered an incorrect code, allow 30-60 minutes and you should be able to re-enter the code again.
The “LOCKED” message means 10 wrong unlock codes have been entered into the radio.
If this happens try holding down the number 6 on your unit for around 10 seconds, you should then be allowed another 3 entry attempts.
Don’t waste the last 3 entry attempts though, as your unit will become permanently locked after this and display the “LOCKED13” message.
The serial number location depends on model – see our guide on finding your Ford radio serial.
No, at the moment the only way to unlock your radio is by providing the unit’s serial number, which can then be decoded.
