Your radio code will be displayed on-screen after payment. Enter it to get the music back on!
Finding Your Serial
There are 2 options to get your radio code, First one is radio serial number and second one is VIN.
You can find instructions and video’s below which will help you locate your VIN or radio serial number.
VIN Location 1

VIN location 1 can be found on the base of the windscreen, as shown in the image above. Your VIN should be 17 digits long and generally starts with VF.

VIN Location 2

VIN location 2 can be found on the inside of the door, as shown in the image above. Your VIN should be 17 digits long and generally starts with VF.

Renault Sat Nav


You will find your sat nav serial number located on a printed label on the casing of the radio.
To get access to the printed label, you will need to partly remove the unit from the dashboard, firstly, pry off the plastic trim that surrounds the radio, once this is off unscrew the 4x screws then slide out the unit (see how-to video above).
Please note: The serial should start with 2811, but we only need the last 4 digits of the serial number to issue your unlock code, this is usually a letter followed by 3 numbers, e.g. C123.
Renault Bosch Radio


You will need to partly remove the radio using radio release keys to get access to the radio label with serial number.
The full serial number will start with 2811, but we only need the last 4 digits of the serial number to issue your unlock code, for example B321.

Renault Philips Radio


You will need to partly remove your radio using radio release keys to get access to the radio label with serial number.
Once removed, you should find the 15-digit serial number on the printed label.
Please note: We only require the last 4 digits of the radio serial number to issue your unlock, e.g. B123.

Shown above is a radio label with serial number, the printed label which holds the serial number can generally be found on the back, side or top of the radio unit.
Please note: Once you have located the serial number, we only require the last 4 digits to issue your unlock code, for example in the image above we have highlighted the required part of the serial number that should be entered in the box at the top of this page ( K014 ).
It is always a letter followed by 3 numbers, for example: K014.
How To Enter Your Renault Radio Code
These entry instructions will always be the same regardless of your Renault vehicle model, be it a Clio, Traffic, Scenic, Megane or other.
Most Renault Radios
For all Renault radios (apart from sat nav), code entry is simple, just turn on your radio and wait until 0 0 0 0 appears on screen then:
- Press button 1 repeatedly until first digit of code is correct.
- Press button 2 repeatedly until second digit of code is correct.
- Press button 3 repeatedly until third digit of code is correct.
- Press button 4 repeatedly until fourth digit of code is correct.
- Once correct code is displayed on screen, press and hold 6 to save.
